Tell me about it! Supposed to be dry until at least Suday...time to dry out some. I just finished enclosing my foaling stall...nothing like cutting it close, lol!

Some very slight mottled skin. He doesn't have enough to get regular papers. Yup, palomino.

If it was not enough to get pappers it is probably palomino mottling thus making him essentially non characteristic.

Hmmm... I can't get a read on this mating. :-(

I don't think his line carries champagne. I think I've looked before... but I could be wrong. You nailed the Chex Nu Jewel thing though.

No champagne that I am aware of...he is a bit sooty though. He has developed the mottling as he aged...he is 15 or 16 I think this year.

I am not really after color with this breeding...my main focus was tallent. Both the sire and dam are very athletic and great all arounders. This baby should be a true athlete....no matter what color

I didn't get any pictures today...too much going on...but she is much more relaxed and dropped more. Not much change in her bag but she is a maiden so may not get much of one. Her mother did not bag up until 24 hours before foaling. I will try to get some update photos of her in the morning.
