How many times in a day do your tell your SO "I love you"?

On the phone this morning, DH asked how many times do we say it. Errmm...about ten? He said he heard on the news this morning that 60% of couples say it once a day.

My husband and I have been married for over 2 and a half years and we still say it a ton. We also kiss a lot. Usually there's just a bunch of little kisses and "I love you's" throughout the day. We're both extremely affectionate people and we feed off each other.

Maybe once a day, if that. And he almost never says it first.

We say it all the time. Every phone call, randomly when together, before we leave eachother and before bed..

Even if we are in a fight/bickering and I leave Ill tell him I love him cause I would want those to be my last words to him if ever something happened..

People make fun cause we're soo affectionate but I think after 4 yrs its really special to still feel the love!!

God when we first starting saying it I swear it was every second word out of my mouth.. lol

Hubby and I have been married nearly 21 years and we still say it every day. Always before he leaves in the morning (or before I leave if I'm out first), every time we talk during the day, and before we go to sleep, whether we're together or not.

16 years and I say it every time I talk to him on the phone (much to the amusement of his brother, LOL) and 90% of the time when I see him during the day or leave him to go somewhere with the kids. And each time I say it I mean it. We also will peck a kiss hello no matter where we are and also a hug and peck goodbye. We don't get sloppy, but the affection is there, why hide it.

As the kids get older, they say they appreciate seeing it as it lets them know everything is OK in our little world. If we suddenly stopped, I think they would believe the world was ending, LOL.

Funny story: SIL has to work on Hubbys brother to get him to say it (he's just that type) and about 3 years ago he was on the phone with my hubby (his brother) and when they got done he accidentally ended the conversation with "I Love You" because he had been making a point to do it for SIL when they talked. Hubby busted a gut and ragged him about it and SIL has had a hard time getting him (BIL) to say it on the phone anymore.
