Mane Pulling help!

I have cut Isabel's mane (I tried to do what MysticRealm did), but even after a long time of pulling (I stopped b/c my hands hurt and Isabel was starting to get annoyed) but any tips, its looks kinda bad!

use scissors vertically and feather the ends, it thins and shortens it(but just a touch) and it evens it up without giving a chopped look.

Now that you have it cut off, pulling wont be so hard...go over it again and pull it. This will make it look a lot more natural and it will thin it up. You should do in on her lunar cycle...you will have to experiment to see when that is...I know it sounds crazy, but I tried to pull Gabriels when it wasnt a full moon, and the hair would NOT come out... on a full moon, it is a breeze. There will be a time in the 28 day cycle that it will easily pull out. I think that would be the best thing you could do

Ya...i think it looks horrible, that's why I posted a thread. I also had to braid it at the end so you couldn't tell. I'll just pull more tomorrow. Now does pulling thin, or shorten, because once i get them all to the same length, how do I make it shorter?? Thats were I get confused.
