Mane and Tail help!

My geldings mane and Tail is terrible, over the winter it had become so dry and coarse I have trouble working with it. Ovcourse the heat hasnt helped do I was wondering what everyone else uses for mane and tail detangling/Conditioning? I use to use Vetroline and I loved it, my current tack store doesnt carry it anymore so I can't get it. Is there any other one everyone uses? I have used Cowboy Cagic but I find it doesnt work as well as Vetroline. Other than MTG wich I put in once or twice a week I have put nothing in it for over 4 months. I plan on doing some AQHA shows this summer and I want his mane soft and easy to work with. Is there anything I can buy at my local shopping center that might work, like for womens hair?

I do both hot oil treatments (V05) and deep conditioning treatments (Pantine ProV) I also do a spray mixture of Eqyss Premire, Healthy Hair Sunflower, Healthy Hair Conditioner, & Infusium 23 leave-in and spray on multiple times a week.
