Red face makes me mad

ok so im friends with this girl kelsey and she can't ride for ****(not being mean but its true) she has never had a lesson and she just seriously has no clue really what to do. She rides mostly western but when she saw me jumping and stuff she wanted to do it so i let her buy my old english saddle and she said she was going to take lessons. well she never took lessons and she is horrible at riding, she only knows what to do from watching me,ive tried helping her but she just doesnt get how to do it. well now shes goes up to New York with her dad to ride a bunch of saddlebreds saddleseat. She has no clue how to even ride english never mind saddle seat!!! it makes me mad because she thinks shes better than everyone because shes up in NY riding prize horses and she thinks she rides better than me. But seriously she has no control over the horses...shes just on for the ride. she told the owner of the barn that she rides very good and shes making up all these lie's. Shes only riden one saddlebred and that was a 2 year old at our barn who was on the lunge line with the owner and the owner just wanted someone on her back so she could get used to it. But it makes me so mad!!! So what do you guys think?

She sounds like a complete pain to me - but don't worry, these people will ALWAYS learn their lessons sooner or later.
Because of her fab-o riding abilities, eventually she'll hop on a horse that's WAY to much for her and BOOM! That will be the end of that. Or, some knowledgeable person will see her and totally tear her apart.
I think every barn has one or two people who have absolutely no idea what they're doing - but sure would like to think they do! LOL. I would just smile and nod - she won't be allowed these more polished/difficult mounts once everyone knows what you do!

yeah she sounds like a pain to me too. she will learn her lesson the hard way someday. i can see her now walking up and saying she's a really good rider, and her teacher or somebody puts on a horse that's hard to controll, that is for an experciesed rider mind and she gets hurt or has a hard time with it. that might make her take lessons. well i hope she does lear her lesson and will take lessons.

plus saddlebreds are nice horses and should be ridden by some one who knows how to ride. you can reck a horse if you don't know how to ride. i've seen enough horses get ruined by riders that don't know how to ride. i've had to retrain a few from riders thinking they can ride.

She is so stupid around horses. My mare snickers hates other horses being around her back end and kelsey brought her horse up right behind snickers and snickers flipped out and kicked kelsey. Kelsey knew that snickers was mad cuz i told her and she was pinning her ears and kelsey knows snickers hates people around her back end. Its like she has no commen sence around horses what so ever.

like she is always making fun of how some people at our barn ride when they ride better than her but she just doesnt notice it. One time we were out on a trial ride and her horse was flipping out and bucking and she couldnt control him so she got off and i got on him and made him stop and he was perfect, its something about her with horses they just dont like her,Cassidy im trying to ignor it but its not really working.lol

uh boy personnally i feel sory for her cuz 1 of these days she's really gonna embarras herself hehehe that's how it always is. I used to have a friend that thought she was suuuch a great rider and it drove me NUTS so one day I asked her to take a riding lesson with me and she told my instructer that she was all this big **** on horses haw haw haw haw...well she showed up in all the expensive show clothes just for a measly lesson and my riding instructer just kicked her behind HARD she put her on a mare that was IMPOSSIBLE this mare even gave me a lot of trouble whenever I rode her well. needless to say she couldn't control her 1 little bit. She couldn't even get her to trot!!! haw haw haw haw oh boy it was hilarious! The mare gave a buck and she went flyin'...well I never did hear another word out of her mouth about what a great rider she was but she blamed it all on the horse (isn't that what they always do?)

oh i know exactly how you feel....one of my friends at my barn is ALWAYS in competition with everyone and sits there and says how good of a rider she is....when in reality she really isnt.....constantly trying to rub things in my face about what she did like how high she jumped or how good her horse did in the lesson.....i kept my mouth shut and just let her run hers.....a little while later i got moved up to the advanced lesson with some really good riders....and let me tell you...the look on her face when she saw on the board that i was riding in their lesson and not in the intermediate was CLASSIC!!! my advice....just keep your mouth shut...let her ramble on about what a big shot she is...karma usually always comes back around....shell learn her lesson eventually.....the waiting out part for it to happen is the hardest part :0)
