I braid all my own tack, and since my horse can only wear so much....now I sell it too. Some of it is easy, some of it is hard, some of what looks easy is actually what is hard....lol. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ished%20items/

I can tie rope halters, and being the perfectionist had to learn the proper fiador knot instead of just doing an overhand. Haha...that was fun :P

To the person who asked how to attach a popper it can be found on the samson rope website. Possibly not for the faint of heart...but maybe I was just having a blonde day the first time I did it.

I think I have an english saddle pad cut out somewhere, and not sewn

Oh and I didnīt make it myself (it was a prize) but I have a pretty handmade western blanket that was handmade by crocheting wool.

i have made:
skinny hoods
float boots
beaded browbands
ribbon browbands
decorative browbands
that includes the blank browbands!

i have a bunch of patterns here that i have not used yet because my rabbit ate my sewing machine cord.
the patterns are for 3 types of fly veils, saddle pad, quarter sheet, light rug and a few other kinds of rugs made from Lycra.

i would love to get a new cord and make some stuff XD
i want to get into leather crafting too but at the moment i dont ave the money to start up. i even have a heap of tack patterns and a book on making bridles.

Here are the pictures:

The breastcollar I bought off E-bay...

After I got my paint and paint brushes and got to work with it...

The bronc halter I made...

I also have a headstall that I dyed blue and put round spots on, but I forgot to bring that one for pictures

Haha, yes it is bright. I like my horse's being noticed.

I buy a plain leather hide and whatever other colorful hide I want to go on top. Cut both hides to the shape and size that I want the noseband, pick the conchos I want on it, cut off the noseband on a nylon halter and fix the bronc noseband to the halter.

Before putting the noseband on the halter, I set the swarovski crystals or round spots on it.

I can do the nosebands in hair on hide as well, but it will be real.
