I think you can do better. While the stallion does have a nice long neck I do not care for the slope of his hip. I know that while there are many succesful Stock breed stallions with hips like that I consider that an "apple rump' and was taught that it is a fault and undesirable. For your mare, I would look for a athletic stallion who is getting foals tall as, or taller than, himself out of shorter mares, also a nice LONG well placed neck with extra length behind the ears and a nice clean throatlatch for easy flex at the poll.
Naturally your going to look for great feet and legs and well balanced, correct conformation.
Both your mare and the stallion have nice well shaped short heads and I would also look for an attractive head with big round eyes and nice foxy ears on any stallion I selected for her. |

And, I also agree that a stallion with a nice long neck would compliment your mare. You have a nice mare, find a nice stallion to breed her to

You will be much happier with the results, and if it costs a little more, you will have a better investment.
