Lump on Amber's side

i have a horse named amber. she has a really big bump on her side i was just wondering if anyone new if it can be a kick.

or something worse.

Have you had the vet out to have a look??

Yes she may have been kicked especially if it is something that has just appeared overnight, but thats not to say that it isnt something. You best choice would be to get the vet to have a look. Anything that isnt normal for your horse should be monitored and taken seriously.

What was the 'something else' that the vet suggested it could be?
