| Senior Member+  | Look how Velvet has changed!:)pics, pics and more pics!!
Since she will be 1 on April 22, I thought I'd post pics to show how this little 'surprise' girl has changed  We got her momma (Lola), her grandmother and her auntie on trade for a Quarter Horse mare we had. A friend did the deal for us so we got them sight unseen. Lola was just a yearling and shortly after we got the horses in, she started to bag up and about 3 weeks later, she brought Velvet into the world. My daughter got to see her born, I was watching for the vet. She is our first 'from birth' foal, and we have enjoyed her so much. I'm not sure how long we will have her, she is technically my husband's and he has been talking about selling her and her momma for quite some time now, because we really don't have the time to do them justice Anyway, here is Velvet from about 1 week of age till today. Her birth pics were on my old cell phone and got erased She is a bay roan Welsh/quarter/TB cross.
