Post Look at my mare...Should I re-breed?

I bred my bay qurterhorse/arab mare to the chestnut arab stud bellow. This was two years ago and the chestnut filly at the very bottom is a yearling now. Trinity is an awsome mom. She even trained her filly Java to only poop in one corner!!Anyways my question is should I breed this mare to a quarterhorse chestnut tabiano stud?

I have a question, you want a tobiano chestnut Quarter Horse stallion to breed your mare to, or you wanta tobiano chestnut Quarter Horse foal?

Well, If the horse is tobiano...it isnt going to be a Quarter Horse.

I assume you mean the stud bred to the bay, not the mare bred to the mom. But either way a tobiano is a paint color pattern, not a quarter horse.

I KNOW THAT!!!

TABIANO IS THE MOST COMMON PATTERN OUT OF OVERS AND STUFF. I KNOW THAT! WERE AS PAINT AND PINTO REFERS TO A BREED TABIANO IS REFERING TO THE COAT PATTERN. IT IS LIKE SAYING MY CHESTNUT ARABIAN MARE!!!!!!!!!

PAINT IS LIKE A QUARTER HORSE LIKE A STOCKY BREED.
PINTO IS ANY OTHER BREED.

While they are basically the same thing they are different breeds OK.Sure practically the same but a qh is a qh and a paint is a paint Different OK.
What a pinto is is irelavent.Say it like a mantra while breathing slowly and calmly...
"a qh is a qh, a paint is a paint"hope this helps

I am not sure if you realize but the horse would not be able to be registered. It could never be a Paint, and you MIGHT be able to register it as Pinto if your mare is registered as a 1/2 arab.
