That's what happens to my horse. I braid it sometimes.

i love the long forelocks. and your right....its seams that every time i straighten it up they will shake their heads to put it back were it was lol. but it would be nice to find a way to keep almonzo's gooey eye buggers from getting in it. thanks for all the replys, i wont touch them !

Della's is very long. I just had to trim it a while ago because it was almost getting in her mouth. The down side is that I have to keep it braided because if I leave it hanging in her eyes it irratates her and her eyes get very very goopy.

Rumor has a very nice long forelock, but it isn't bushy, it's nice and elegant looking. Hairs reach down to her nostrils I LOVE IT! I also have a mini stud whos forelock goe past his nose, and his mane goes to his knees... It depends on the horse if you show. A lot of SB people shave the forelocks because their horses will shack their head if hair touches their ears.

if you have long hair...look through it...you can see...maybe the person looking at you can't see YOU, but you can see thru it.
horses are the same.
I wouldn't cut it.
