Leaving prego mare for 3 days...

Yup...my family and I are going up to Maine Friday morning for my brother's graduation....Which means leaving a STILL pregnant mare behind and a big beast of a mare...

BUT we've got the best horse sitter who will be staying at our house when not at work....a VET TECH! Aren't we lucky?? LOL And an actual equine tech at that!

So my mom and I can stay more relaxed then we would have until we come home Sunday night.

Fingers crossed Lucy holds out until you get home! lol..with my luck, if I left behing a pregnant mare she would foal the night I left

With our luck she'll foal tomorrow night!! LOL When I'm not home because I'm on a field trip in New York...I'd be so mad...and I'd prolly steal the bus! LOL

She's going to foal Friday night...you know it lol -- best way to get a mare to foal is to leave her. My mom came out here over Easter weekend and her mare went two weeks over due to foal the night she left
