I am being given a second horse and I am looking to offset the costs by leasing/free leasing/partial leasing her out to someone. I would like to find her an amazing caretaker only. This is an amazing opportunity for someone! Gwen is a 15.2 hand thoroughbred mare quiet amazing over jumps and valued at $8,000. She is an amazing horse and I need someone who will keep her in great condition. I am looking for someone intermediate to advanced, no beginners sorry! I am willing to consider a rider who is a minor but you would need to be at least 13 and I would need proof that you are taking lessons at least twice a month. My preference would be 16 to college age or adult. I would love it if the leaser would show her. She is an amazing show horse! I would cover vet bills, farrier and board are negotiable. The agreement would probably be different for every person. I am very easy going and I am willing to negotiate and make changes. I do have experience free leasing and drawing up contracts. I have blankets for her, a halter, and possibly a bridle but everything else would be the leasers responsibility. I will consider other locations but the closer to me the better. I live in Pa and go to college in upstate Ny. English riders only and I would really like to find someone who would continue to work her over jumps. She is a Hunter/Jumper horse. Edit: The only reason I don't want beginners is because I want her to continue to stay in great shape. I need someone who (at a minimum) knows how to get her in a frame, use leg aids, and jump. She is beginner safe, and has had many beginner riders.
