Latest update on Blaze...

I just wanted to mention an update on Blaze.
He has been doing very well and still no bucking when I'm on him. He has now officially been rode 11 times (days off inbetween so I don't hurt him).
Last weekend my boyfriends boys came out to visit and Blaze got to see kids for the first time ever in his life. I rode him a little bit to make sure he was alright then we sat the one of the boys on and lead them. Their dad stayed beside them until we knew Blaze was going to do good with them. Blaze did great and acted like he has done this for years.
Yesterday, I was ground driving him and showing my mom what to do with Storm. He is doing very well with the driving that I have been looking at harnesses and seeing if I can get a draft harness made for him that will grow with him, instead have havening to get a light horse harness and taking the chances that he will break it.

yeah I got my fingers crossed.
When Mystic was broke it took he a month to relizes she could buck and then it became h***, if you know what I mean.

Even with Blaze I had a lady that has a horse day camp come up to me about him. She was watching him and she had asked me if that was my stud. I told yeah it was and his breed. To my suprise she asked me what my stud fee would be . I told her most likely $200. She totally shocked me with that question.
She has a mare that is not registered, but was broke way wrong and she is not good for the kids to ride. She fell in love with Blaze's looks and attitude. I think she is hoping if she breeds her mare to a calm stud that maybe momma will calm down and she will get a good baby also.

wow glad to hear that blaze is doing good for you. keep up the good work. wow that's something to hear when some come up and asks about a stud fee for you horse. that would be cool if she were to breed her mare to blaze. let us know what happens.
