Last indoor ride and first outdoor ride *PICS*

Finally the snow is gone and the water dried up. We rode outside yesterday. It went very well. Will was a superstar... still a bit sticky with his leads, but we managed to get them sometimes! He wouldn't do changes, though I haven't practiced them and may not be being very clear with my aids. But overall it went very smoothly. We did a line, around to a gate jump, so not too much but it was just amazing being outside again!! Here are a few pictures from the outside ride, and some from my last indoor ride. I forgot the CD of pictures at the barn so I don't have more to show just yet.

I'm going to be showing novice this year and if all goes well, I'd love to try C/A next year... my coach and I were talking about it but I'm not sure if it's too ambitious of me or not? I'll have to REALLY work on a lot of things in order to get to that point. We'll see how this year goes.

Also, how high do you think the jump is in the last picture?

Not exactly straight

And my two favourites!

I know my leg and feet and release ETC are bad, but Will looks so cute! Actually, I think my leg position is actually a bit better because I didn't expect him to take off at this point, so I wasn't jumping ahead.

Hmmm. I was thinking more like 2'6, I think it looks bigger than it actually was. Thanks for your nice comments!

You both look wonderful! You know I just adore your guy though.

That last one looks to be around 2'6 to me.

I'd say the last jump looks to be about 2'6. Will is very handsome!
