Last baby pic and year end stats!

Well the last baby we were waiting on was born today! It's a BS filly out of Sheza Sonny Dee and Western Design.(she was stretching from just getting up when I took this, hence the funny look on her face!)

So our year end stats are-

Mares to Foal-28

Live Foals-21

2 mares aborted, 1 foal was born dead and 4 had to be put down due to health reasons(this was the most foal deaths we've had in many years)

We had a total of 15 fillies and 6 colts (Yippee!).

We had 4 QH babies, 13 colored paints, and 4 Breeding Stocks.

6 of the babies are already sold too!

Sweet. That's alot of babies, it's going to be one heck of a noisey barn in a few months!

yup we already have 7 of them weaned, so the noisefest has already begun!

she is GORGEOUS!! Your babies are always so stinkin cute though!! I have to say she is one of my favorite foals this year..

..is she going to be a keeper?

dont know yet, have to see how she progresses since she's a breeding stock.

Out of all of the foals, are you planning on keeping any for breeding(colts or fillies) or do you nto know yet?
