No foal yet, but today she has crusty stuff on her nipples. She's still doing all the same stuff. I finally broke down and asked the vet, and they said that she is very close, and that the contracting at her belly that I'm seeing is the baby getting into position. I'm exhausted from sitting out there in the heat watching her.

No, she hasn't been getting up and down, and pee peeing frequently. Oh man! I feel so sorry for her then. She's not even hit stage one then..EEK!

LOL! We been trying to tell ya! Just when you think they can get no more miserable, they do! You'll know when stage 1 hits. There is a HUGE HUGE difference.

I have a video of Annie from 06 when she was in Stage 1 for 24hours. I also have her delivery and such but that's something no one wants to see. Anyway, my point if I knew how to get it off the video I would load it to show you.

Every mare I have ever seen in Stage 1 goes almost into a trance sp? IME you'll see Moondust but it won't be her at home. That make sense? That's the best way I think to tell a baby is coming soon.
