Know anything about this saddle? Crosby Olympia

This is a 17-in Crosby Olympia saddle. Have you guys heard anything about it or had any experience with it? I read the review on tack review, and it sounded nice. It's going for $625 and that includes leathers and irons.

I don't know diddly squat about jumping saddles, but it sure looks nice, far as I can tell. I'd say it's a pretty decent saddle.

Crosby used to make very nice saddles. Based on this saddle's looks, it may be a true Crosby. It looks very well taken care of - based on your pix. It looks comfy, too. How is the flocking? I think you may get a decent deal for that price.

I owned one, I loved it, but the flaps were WAT too long for my legs! i would do some checking around before you buy, b/c I have seen then go for $300 and less!

Crosby's are great, and I think that's a fair price. Usually the ones going for $300 or less are older Prix de Nations that don't have any padding or knee rolls, and often need to be reflocked. I don't know specifically about the Olympia, but it looks like one of their "Sofride" saddles, which go for $700-900 on ebay.

Thanks guys!

I'm really just browsing right now, but I thought this one was pretty. I really really really need to find a new saddle.

If anybody has any suggestions for something to look for, I need a 17.5in medium tree saddle, preferably close contact or a decently shallow all purpose. I have long legs, so I'll need a fairly long flap. My price range is about $900 right now, but anything less than that would work fine for me I'd like to find an older brand name saddle.

I saw a long flap Circuit eventer the other day for $550. If you're interested, PM me and I'll find the ad for you. I know of lots of places to look.

Yes, I'm definitely interested! I don't know a lot about the brand though; is it one of the high quality ones?

PM-ing
