    Killing Mildew on blankets

What's the best way to kill/rid blankets (i.e. heavy quilted winter blankets) of mold/mildew without bringing them in the house and laundering them or sending them out? Is there anything I can spray (no bleach as I don't want to discolor them) on them that'll do the trick? I'd like to spray them with whatever, let them dry THEN bring them in and wash them. They're still fairly wet from the rain we had and dragging them through the house isn't an option.

You could try vinegar. Do do a test spot first.

Well, evidently there wasn't mold or mildew *YAY* I was told "your blankets smell moldy" so after I posted this I went outside and drug them onto the lawn to hose off and inspect...no mold, no mildew.

I guess I could always 'be prepared' and get a cheap-o hudson/pump sprayer from Home Depot and keep some Eqyss Blanket & Wrap Wash mixed up...

But if anyone knows anything it'd still be good to know for those 'just in case' times
