OH, and just for my own little ego boost and to make me feel warm and fuzzy, that saddle is the very first english saddle that Melody ever had on her back

actually at this show they divide the jrs and the sr riders (17-under 18-over) so you and I wouldn't HAVE to compete against each other And yesterday there were only 4 riders in the jr hunt classes! You would SO totally kick butt--you have to come!! And get pretty ribbons, lol!

It's so cheap, too. Stalls are 12/day but we show out of the trailer parked right ringside. The trailers are actually closer to the ring than the barn. I rode 5 classes and only dropped $30 on the whole day. You'd have gas money to worry about too, but it still wouldn't break the bank and would be worth your time to come.

I love how you didn't mention how your $5 goodwill coat was necessary only because I screwed up getting your hunt jacket up to you
Ha, it's all good. Where there's a will, there's a way.

You two look great! I think the goodwill outfit is pretty convincing. I wouldn't have noticed if you didn't mention it so well done!

Well then... I REALLY need to get up there next month! We're considering getting a trailer, but I don't know if it would be by then if it happens. If not, I'm definitely going to see if I can find somebody else to drag up there with me who just happens to have a truck and trailer

Wow, Jezzie and you look great!
Congratulations, not a bad show at all!
Her costume is awesome, she looks really cool in blue.
She looks awesome as a hunter too, I'd have to say I prefer her that way.
Her mane looks so cool with those braids too.

You guys look cute as always....You are inspiring me to get off my bum and take crazy gelding to a show (shudders at the thought).

Any more shows planned for the season?

Congrats on a fun day. The blue colors of the costume and hunt coat look great on your grey mare.

yep, I plan to hit 4 more arab shows, about 6 dressage shows, maybe some tuesday-night fun shows, and maybe some open ones. We'll be keeping a pretty full schedule!

Nice coat Britt!

Good pics, but I can't wait to compare them to ones from the end of the year! I saw a lot of improvement in you guys last night compared to the last time you rode with me and know that you will continue to improve!! Keep up the hard work, its paying off!

I know, me too! I can't wait to kick some of our bad habits and develop more strength and consistency. It was great to have a lesson again...being without for too long is like floating around on a river without a paddle, lol...I need eyes on the ground to keep me honest
