Kick in the Guts

I'll explain the whole details better later. But I lost Zeke today. I found my little dude lying in the tree's. His momma followed me and stood over us.

I just feel so crappy. I mean I bust my butt so hard to have my horses and pay for everything. I try so hard to do well. I pick one of the better stallions in the breed coming from one of the top breeders. I search for 2 years for this mare. I have this colt who, just grew on me sooo much. I had a lot of high hopes and expectations for him. I already had shows picked out. I just put his halter on yesterday so that we could start working on teaching him to lead. He was really good about it too. I scooped him up and he bucked a little bit and hopped around but then I scratched his chest and he was lovin me for it. We got his halter on and he got more scratchies. I dunno. I'm just really crushed right now. Really sad. I just took new photo's of him two days ago for his ad's.

A lot of presence. He was gonna be such a cool boy. I would of loved to seen something of mine all grown up in someone's hitch. I thank you guys ahead of time but I'm gonna head to bed or something. I have a horrid headache and just having a really rough time.

Ohhh, I am so so so sorry for your loss, I know how devastating it is to lose a foal. I swear they can hurt themselves on free air
