I've got a big show going on, but all of the parents at my barn are trying to get the show grounds to provide portable TVs so that we can watch.

A great family friend of ours has a horse in it.... so we can't wait to see how he does!

I AMM!!!!! I am rooting for Big Brown (and you all should too) I am rooting for him because of his jockey Kent Desormeaux. I met Kent when I was in eighth grade and he changed my life. He was so inspirational and so modest. This year will be his 21st derby. He has won it twice, first in 1998 on Real Quiet who he also won the preakness and finished second in a photo finish at the Belmont. He also won in 2000 on a horse who I can't spell, haha

I'll probably watch it online afterwards since I'm at work. I looked through the horses running this year and I like Court Vision. Anyone watching the Kentucky Oaks today?

I watched the Kentucky Oaks online. It would be very nice if the filly won the Kentucky Derby tommorow. It's the same trainer/jockey for the Kentucky Oaks winner and the filly tomorrow.

Fusaichi Pegasus (2000 Derby winner)

I absolutely adore Real Quiet. I have a painting I got of him AT Churchill Downs matted and framed, hanging in my bedroom.

As up to date as I normally am with the KD, I really don't know much at all as far as who is running this year. I did watch a blurb on Big Brown today on ESPN when I was watching the fillies run (GOSH! I would LOVE to own Zee Zee!)...and he does seem very promising! But, I think I might have to go for Eight Belles, gotta support the girls in a "boy's" world!
