Keeping black horses BLACK?

I now have 2 black horses, and have noticed one fading quite dramatically.
I'm at my wits end. This mare is for sale, so she has to look good.
She's been on a tablespoon of Paprika with no result- should I feed more? Does Black as nite work better?
Blanketing is not an option, as i can't afford it(she shreds blankets faster than any horse I've ever met).
What about the black enhancing shampoo's? Is it actually worth the money?

Any suggestions would be great.

I dont have any horses of my own that are black but i know of one person that dyed there black horse jet-black because it was fading. It looked great! I also know of people that have dyed the mane and tail black on a bay. Hope you find a solution!

I am almost ashamed to post this..
Martha Stewart keeps her black horses
IN during the day, in summer to keep them
from getting red....

Ohh, sorry forgot to mention - the color enhancing shampoo's (that i know of...) wont actually make your horse darker, though it will make your horse more shinnie

If you can't keep her in during the day, maybe you could move her to a turnout with more shade?

If she's already faded, you can't change it, short of dyeing her, which I don't recomment
