I'm also terribly sorry I have not been here for you. I must be in more of a fog than I realized because I didn't even see this thread until today

For once, I don't have the words to express how I feel. My daughters and I have been following along since the beginning, we are saddened by the passing of Katy Lynn. You have been an inspiration to all of us with your love for your horse. We are so sorry for your loss.

If...the biggest littlest word in the english language. It covers entirely tooooooo much ground in these kind of scenarios. Please don't do the 'If's'. Thank you everyone for everything. Everyone has been absolutely wonderful during our saga. Today went better. As you all can see my screen name is Katy Lynn and I have no intentions on changing it. She was the reason I joined HGS. And I want her to be remembered for years to come.

You did everything you can for that mare & baby. My two horses that I had to put down are welcoming her to the pasture. I am so sorry, and there is nothing that will take the pain away but time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. There is nothing I can say to make it feel better but just know in time it won't hurt as much. You did EVERYTHING right for this mare. It just wasn't meant to be.
