Just Curious Worst injury?

I just got a Blue and Gold Macaw with a HUGE beak and that got me to thinking. What is the worst animal related injury you've ever had? and was it your fault?
I'm happy to say that so far the bird has not bitten me (knocking on wood).
I guess my worst injury would be either the time my mustang bucked me off and then ran over me. He didn't do too much damage accept for one of his hooves hit my shin and caused a huge swelling so bad that I couldn't put my pantleg down over it. I never went to the doctor for it. That could have been my fault. He WAS misbehaving but I trusted him so I really wasn't paying attention and he caught me off guard.
The other one was NOT my fault. I was trying to pay my board and was going to pin the check up on the cork board and the owner of the barn had a dog chained to the table right there. I didn't see her until it was too late. She bit my legs up pretty bad...I still have scars. The sad thing is, I knew her well and had played with her plenty of times but I'm VERY leary of strange dogs now. She was a coon hound by the way.
My mule kicked me once (it was an accident on his part...he didn't mean to.) I didn't even get a cool bruise to show off for that!!
OK........your turn..........

hmmm, well, we had a really mean dog that bit me in the hand and made some cartlage pop out. That was kinda bad, but i think the worst was horse related.

I was trail riding with a friend of mine one spring and our horses spooked at some wild turkeys that were hiding behind a log. Fancy took off and i tried to stay on, but had to drop off her or else i would have hit a tree head on (and i had no helmet on, i didn't even own one at the time, i do now!) I dropped into a HUGE pile of HUGE rocks. I left a spur mark across the seat of the saddle, my whole right calf was one big bruise. I had a hematoma the size of a gold ball on my left hip and the cracked 2 ribs, and bruised others i am sure. I scraped up my elbow in the process as well. Good news was, Fancy stopped running when i hollered to her and came running back to me when i was speaking softly to her and walking up to her. She trotted right to me and dropped her head and breathed a big sigh like "OMG WHAT WAS THAT!!" her whole body was shaking, so was mine, but mine was from pain LOL...never the less, i got back on and we continued our ride for about another hour before heading back to the barn to explain to Ralph why i was limping LOL

Humm... Due to an animal my worst injury would be when i leased an old walking horse and he slammed his foot down right on mine! he had those big plantation shoes on and everything.... OWWWWW!! It broke all my toes, and a few bones in my foot... Did i mention I was barefoot? Lol... Thats probably the most painful animal related injury! That was my faught!! hahaha.

one that was kind of my faught was when my dads aussie was on the back of the truck and he started to growl at another dog.. then lunged forward after it. I was standing by him and grabbed him without thinking. He bit me. I still have scars, and boy did it bruise up!! That hurt too...
