The trainer owns the horse that was being shown by a Nov Amateur? I am so confused....

Looks like a nice horse and I am sure they got caught up in all the excitement of the moment

Im sure its not every day that someone runs towrds the horse in a complete excited nature. Mine would probably jump back too!

And for the record....re watch the video.... rider did reward him many times
I wasn't trying to be rude and I really didn't think my post was THAT big of a deal.

I'm sure my horse would jump back as well, but I'd try to comfort her a little after it happened to settle her down, but that's just me.

I saw she rewarded him when she was on him, but when she got off she didn't really pay attention to him. Maybe it's just because I'm not big into showing, but I found it weird

"Unappreciative?"

um, no... we wanted clarification, because the way you WORDED your post, it sounded like a trainer was showing in novice amatuer which is against the rules and VERY wrong.

You say you don't want to share anything like this with this forum again. I guess I should just leave because when I share anything like...my opinion, I get flamed, it's lovely

It was a nice performance, I just think I would acknowledge the HORSE more.
You did? Didn't appear so.

Getting mad and snarky at the people who expressed opinions (hmm, there's a litte red dot at the bottom of my usercp page, was that necessary?) without actually bashing the horse is pretty immature. I stated in my very first post that I thought the horse was a QUOTE ''Beautiful mover.''

Novice Amateur riders do not have to own the horse they are riding. AQHA has ruled they can do a "riding lease" on horses to get them in the door and hook them on AQHA so they go out and buy their own AQHA horses to show with.

And yes, my understanding is that the trainer was the one who ran out and hugged the girl that was riding her horse.

I quoted myself to show you that I was talking about when she got OFF the horse.
