I agree.

I thought it was kind of...weird that she got off the horse and hurried to get her awards or whatever and get hugged while the horse didn't even get a pat. Instead he got scared which went unnoticed apparently

It was a nice performance, I just think I would acknowledge the HORSE more.

Each time the judges cards were called with her placing, she patted his shoulder as she walked him forward. Then when the final placings were called she patted his shoulder again and I imagine was probably telling him good job. For a horse that is used to showing, that is high praise.

Seriously.... did you really feel the need? What happened to appreciation of a nice horse? I don't think I'll ever share anything like this with this forum again....Im a little irritated with this post. Im sure its not every day that someone runs towrds the horse in a complete excited nature. Mine would probably jump back too!

And for the record....re watch the video.... rider did reward him many times

I like my local shows where the trainers and parents come up and pat the horse rather than hug the rider... JMHO

If it were my horse, I would have ran up and hugged the rider too.... the person riding the horse can make or break it.... the rider did one hec.k of a job showing that horse to his potential and it paid off!

Just for you kmdstar look at 1:59, 2:22 and 3:32. EACH TIME she gave him a nice patting on the neck. Maybe you didn't pay attention?
