Jumping Ahead?

ok, a yes or no answer, do you think I am jumping ahead in this one? It didn't feel like it while the movie was taken, but now looking at it, it looks like I am falling ahead onto his neck

Thanks! His trot and Lou Lou's are so different though! He has no suspension but is really smooth (like Granny's), but Lou Lou has much more impulsion (I never thought she did until I rode Red, lol.). I am working on smoothing it out, as it is choppy and short strided.

You are bending abit to mi=uch for such a small jump. He seems to stop and jump, lol rode a horse like that it feels weird. but other wise you weren't ahead of him.

Stunning horse

i think that you fold a bit too far forward for the size of the jump. and i think this is becuse you dont have your leg on enough, and so he hesitates (not really the right word) and then jumps.

Cassidy - left behind? Or am I just landing to early?

Thanks Piaffe, he is a wholly mammoth right now but in the spring he really looks handsome!

Minnie Mouse and Piaffe - He just acquired that little habit when I hadn't jumped him for about 2 weeks (maybe it was one, but it felt like two). I don't know why. He isn't sore that I can tell. He still loves to jump but not as energetic as he used to

You are definitely not jumping ahead. I think you could open your hip angle a little over a small jump like that though, but it definitely was not bad.
