Talking julie decided on a horse pic are here shes looking for opinions!

Hey everybody i recently posted some pics of horses my friend julie was interested in from the same barn i was looking at thats why the pics of the the rider and backrounds are very very similar, at this time she doesnt have net access, but she will soon and shes gonna join the forums... anyways im kinda talking about nothing... she thinks this is the horse she gonna get theres one last visit before she decides... this is a different paint mare and were both wondering what people think...
here she is oxford shes 15.2hh can be ridden english and western has had two foals jd and freedom and shes 8yrs old she umm i guess all the info julie has given me and shes is very quiet but you can get her moving so tell us what you think( it sounds really odd b/c i keeps saying us when he just really julie wondering ha ahh well)

grrr just lost my reply.

Anyway she's sickle hocked and appears to be undermuscled in her hindquarters.

Is she wanting to show or just ride around? The mare does not appear to be show ready at all but sounds perfect for a fun horse.

aww i hate when that happens she just looking for a horse to ride around on and have fun and shes is sick of showing so this would just be for her to ride and relax on im feeling the same way... at this point i can show later on i just wanna have fun of one of the ponies i might get! pics of razzle if you wanna look at one of the ones im intersted in!

Well the only thing you really need to worry about are her hind legs. It's difficult to tell from a pic how bad they are, but it could lead to unsoundness, tendon issues, etc at a relatively early age.

And of course, anything a vet check might turn up.

Based on those pics, she passes on her sickle-hockedness (is that a word?) So that should rule her out for use as a brood mare. Again, it would really depend on the severity of her legs on how much it would affect her.
