OK, Overall I really like my new job and I'm really enjoying the people I work with for the most part. Today was a day where I just wanted to reach out and STRANGLE our Admin Assistant....

She is a very nice lady. SHe is also very much like the TV Character MONK and is so beyond OC that at times it can be VERY trying.... Earlier this afternoon was one of those time.

Well it's Monday and I had to come in to work to get any rest (it's painfully slow here this afternoon, so I'll make a journal entry while on 'break'....

It all started at Noon on Friday when I got the phone call "Whirlie is having the first puppy COME HOME" so OFF I race to my house in time to help her whelp out the second puppy.... Ugh, to watch CSI or Grey's Anatomy??? CSI is winning out because I know Grey's will rerun 100 times this season

BUT more importantly it was UGLY BETTY new season tonight.... and it was way too heartbreaking at the end when we find out that her sister's fiance really died at the end of the season I hate sad endings...sigh...

It was nice to have today off from work, back to the grindstone tomorrow and then starting next week, M-Thurs as my HOPEFULLY permanent...

I don't want to pick paddocks tomorrow in the rain, but they MUST get picked, sigh... I also do NOT want to do a deep clean of the house but it too MUST get done tomorrow as there will be no time over the weekend with all that will be going on brining hay in and taking Dancer to the barn for her winter digs and then having Betsy arrive with the new youngsters on Sunday... ugh.. it's going to be crazy!

I need to try to cram 8 hours of work into 6 hours on Friday so that I can run to...

First, work is still busy and still hammering out exactly the best way to organize all the various tasks needing done into some kind of manageable schedule. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have it all down to an easy to follow method

Today was Emmerson's day off, so only one horse I had to work of my own, which was Dancer. We have PROGRESS in getting a TRUE lope and not a bit more rushed one PLUS she's really starting to lighten up more in the bridle and use self carraige...
