Happy New Year, everyone!
Ok, here's a bit of writing, just for its own sake. :-)

Waking not to the a loud buzzer,
nor to the rumaging of roommates.
Instead their soft arguements reach me,
pulling me from sleep to stare.
The walls are watching as they run,
pushing from within the truth.
They don't fight, simply argue
distinctively scattering their proof.
I close my eyes to listen,
pulling the sound from the air.
