Well my boarders are here!

Well, yesterday, my best friend Linda, finally got her horses over here, she plans to keep Amber the morgan mare she has on a free lease here for good, I hope...and her gelding a morgan x welsh/arab here for at least the summer, so we can do a bunch of riding....STARTING tomorrow! I told her to make sure to bring me a girth to fit her, as I don't have one small enough to fit her....Amber is somewhere around 18? She is broke to drive so I will be driving her too....I hope to get a pic of me riding tomorrow too! and of course of Linda riding Beanie!
Xiphias in intregued (sp?) with Amber, and wants to be friends with her, but Beanie is acting like a stud, and not letting them get together...that will stop tomorrow night, when I put Amber and Xiphias in the front paddock alone, to eat the good pasture, Amber needs to gain some weight, she lost a lot over the winter, hence she will now live here...why pay 150 a month for pasture board, and have to supplement the feed that the barn feeds, because your horse is losing weight? Here all Linda needs is to buy the feed she wants her horse to eat, and I will feed her...she don't need to pay board, just provide feed, and go halfs on the round bales of hay...
Beanie on the other hand, gets fat on air...he can go back to pasture board, and come through the winter fat and sleek....I am so happy, I will have a horse to drive, and will be able to ride with Linda, my best friend all summer, going to the park a mere 5 mile trailer ride up the road, or up to fair hill any wed. or sun. when she has off!
The big news is I will be riding at the HGS Fair Hill Ride! I cannot wait! And there is another surprise, but I will wait a bit before announcing that one
