All my feelings.......
The Future
Posted 01-22-2007 at 03:58 PM by SkyeTiger
I have been thinking lately about what I would like to do with my life. I might as well......I'm 18 years old. It would probably be a good idea. DUH!
Anyway, I am going to Vet Tech school down in Pittsburgh and then if I feel ready/mature I want to *possibly* give Findlay another try. I would still LOVE to become a horse trainer.
But, anyway, regardless of whether I do Findlay or not I still would LOVE to breed quarter horses. I just want to have a very small business........probably 3-5 foals a year. I want 4-5 broodmares and my own stud. I also have decided that I am going to buy them from this ranch www.fquarterhorses.com. I am VERY impressed with her horses and I have made up my mind. She offers great prices and fair deals.
I know that I am not going to make millions.......who does with horses? LOL But, I do want to do it and make it something on the side that is fun. It has always been a dream of mine and I have set my mind to doing it. I also want to break all of the babies and sell them and make a good profit. That is break the babies that I first get.......that will be my future broodmares, show them so that there babies are more profitable.
I am excited and I hope to get this started within the next year to two years. The lady who owns the above ^ quarter horses is only 21 years old and has done VERY well with it and I feel that if I put the same determination and heart into, I can as well.
Whoooo, glad I got that off my chest.
