OMG--I am so excited for tomorrow I already have butterflies in my stomach. It will be the first time I have stepped into a show arena in over 20 years. I worked Cowboy last night and he did so good. He is really settling down a lot. He didn't fuss around at all. I am just praying that I don't do anything stupid, like go to trot and trip over my feet and fall on my face. That would be something I would do.

Cory took me out to dinner last night. I was very suprised. I went and picked him up from practice, went back to the barn to finish what I was doing...he came out of the house and said "when you get finished how about I take us out to dinner" Completely his idea! Anytime I don't have to cook is a good thing. So I finished and we went out. As we were driving his mom called-Saturday is opening day of goose hunting-she wants him to go with her and the hubby- Cory told her he was going to the horse show with me and she said "what is the big deal about a stupid horse show" He told her "you might think it's no big deal, but it is to us and I am going with Shelley" I had to chuckle. She is a piece of work. I told him he could go with them if he wanted and I wouldn't be upset at all--he thought about it for a few minutes and said "the difference between you and my mom is you want me to do what is good for ME and my mom wants me to do what is good for HER--that's not right Shelley."

He is figuring it out!!!!!
