My horse came home! Sept 15th she arrived. I am so excited! But there is a downfall. She has a really bad wound on her withers that is really nasty. I was quite irritated when Edith called me and told me she discovered it. I had finally arranged for someone to transport her the 3 hour drive and now I find out she has a really bad bite on her neck. GRRRR! Well the deal with Mantooth didnt work out for me. I festered over the price he was charging me for her and the fact that he wouldnt change the price because he knew I would pay it made me mad. He was like a used car salesman. So I went to the origonal seller that I wanted to go to and found a lovely horse named Freedom that was priced significantly lower. She is really skinny though and needs some good groceries. But her temperment is nice and she rides nice and slow. I will post more when she...

Yay! We went out to Mantooth Farms and I fell in love with a Quarter Horse Mare and she will probably be coming home on the 5th of September which happens to be my birthday! Awesome gift from hubby! I think I am going to name her Tanana (from the movie Brother Bear). I will have pictures of her soon. It was just my luck that we had already left and I realized that I forgot the video camera and the digital too. So the guy said he would take a pic or 2 for me and email it. I am just so excited...
