So, we had the vet out today to look at Pilgrim's back, because of recent soreness (look at my last entry) and the vet came and gave us shots to give him every four days, for 28 days.

Also, here's another surprise - I should have never jumped him. The person that sold him to me ripped me off.

*Mental Note - Never trust anyone desperate to sell a horse*

I've kind of fallen off the wagon with the blog thing. So here are a couple updates.

My boy, Pilgrim - yes he is still mine, we are having trouble getting a buyer for him, a couple people have offered but no one has really "clicked" with him the way they want to. He hasn't gone through a vet check yet, thankfully. Because a couple days ago I was touching his back and he nearly sat down when I went near his hips! My heart came out of my chest when I saw him flinch the way...

Hey, this is my first entry so bear with me if it's dreadfully boring, they'll get better, I promise!

So no barn today, but I am selling my horse, whom I've had for approx. a year and a half due to issues in his soundess and the fact that I am basically running in place riding this horse. I only show him intro and according to my instructor I should be going novice.

This is a heartwhrencing decsion for me knowing that the horse I finished is going to be somewhere else...
