I feel like I may be able to really keep up with this now that finals are over. I think I should be getting at least a 3.6 GPA for last quarter, if not a 4.0. :crosses fingers:

Back to horses, though. So, last weekend puppies were born and so I came home for the first and only time the entire quarter. And, of course, Ed had to hurt himself. Basically he rubbed off the entire top layer of skin of the fronts of both back legs from a little lower than half way in between his hocks...

Haven't written here in a while - oops.

Ponies are both doing very well. Too much rain has limited riding for the past few days along with other obligations.

Riding Penny today, she was pretty nutsy at first. When I asked her to canter the first time, she bucked about three times BIG. As in really, really, really BIG. I have ridden alot of horses and have ridden through alot of bucks, so it's saying something when I say she almost got me off - haha. As she...

Onto Day 3 now. I personally thinking that it is going pretty well considering. My computer is bad at showing true color.

I just had time to go out and feed horses today. Penny is so, so sore. I'm sorry big girl. I feel like it's my fault even though I know it wasn't and those freak things just happen. Boo.

On a happier note, I found out one of Penny's half sisters lives in the broodmare band owned and managed by Cal Poly. Her name is Ramrose. I'm going to try to find her.

Since it is supposed to be raining all week accompanied with the fact that I was going to get bored with just walking around, I decided to trot the horses ton around the perimeter of the two arenas. I feel that it was a pretty good exercise. Since it was still very, very wet, there were rivulets crossing our paths that I had the horses maintain a good trot step in. Penny really had no problem with it, but Ed seemed to like to just pick his feet up higher than really power through it. ...
