Penny:
Oh, that crazy mare! Was prancing all the way up a hill with a few bucks here and there. I love her to death though. It was amusing... everytime we passed a turn-out area, she would get REALLY excited. But once we passed it, she would act like the real sweetheart I know her to be.

Eddie:
He decided he didn't like cantering today. Just wouldn't get forward. I finally gave him a big pony kick and he listened . I then jumped a decent height (3'6"-3'9")...

Eddie:

I worked on bending mostly today. He was really stiff cantering, especially to the right. He just kept on trying to throw his head straight up in to the air. Not too fun. I was trying my best to remain smooth with my hands and try to "negotiate" with him rather than force. (Lots of easy circles in the corners.) Eventually we got through that and he was a good boy for his flying lead changes. In a loose-ring snaffle.
