Went to the gym today and decided to record my progress.

Treadmill:
6 minutes at 5.0 mph with 1.0% incline

So, I need to go on a short hiatus from HGS (and anything horsie and online for that matter) due to me having two mid-terms on Friday, a mid-term on Tuesday and another mid-term on Wednesday. Ack!

So, I sat down and finally organized everything to figure out what events and what not I would be doing this year. I have three potential schedules depending on how much I can scrounge together to pay for them.

It's been raining here for the past two days and it's supposed to keep raining for the next week. Luckily I got these new 3-season riding pants. I have never had a pair before and, I must say, these in conjunction with a shell keeps me oh so dry.

The day before yesterday I went to Bikram yoga. Man, I was so stiff in my core, but my legs were nice and limber. What an odd combination. I actually got my knees to lock in several poses that I hadn't been able to before, so...

After the long and fabulous weekend of clinicing with Leslie Law, who has to be THE most talented rider I have ever witnessed riding a variety of horses for the first time, both Ed and I are pooped. Luckily for Ed, he got the day off... and just a light trail ride tomorrow... jerk. For me it's back to the ol' grinder.

So, I went to the track and did my own work-out. After warm-up (1/2 mile run and plyometrics) I did 2-200m sprints, then 2-100m sprints, and 4-50m sprints. Nothing...
