Yesterday was a LOOOOONNNNGGGG day... I worked 9 hours, ran home to let dogs out of the house, found out my NEW turn out blankets arrived from Schneider's Tack (yippeee), so grabbed Dancer's plus her new headstall and drove the 25 mins out to the barn and tacked her up and worked her for about an hour... then while she was standing drying in her cooler (had to rinse all the sweat off of her) I spent 45 mins making up her feed mix for the next two weeks (bagging it all so barn only has to dump concoction into her pan and I will know that all amounts are correct ). Then home again about 10pm, bring horses in to barn for night take care of all the dogs, give them their good night play time and attention and then off to bed...

Yesterday when working with Dancer in the lope she was not BAD but we were still struggling some...

TODAY I got off work reasonably early at 4:30 so was able to go straight to the barn to work with Dancer... She was REALLLY doing well today adn REALLY driving up under herself and using taht hind end and 'getting' the lope down much nicer!!!! So after 30 mins of continued listening and doing as I was asking, I called it GOOD for the night and she got to go back to the barn and cool off a bit before dinner and then got her dinner... Hopefully we can build off of today tomorrow!!

Got home tonight by 7:00pm which was nice to just sit and play with dogs and veg for a bit... NOW of course it's time to go put horses to bed and dogs to bed and then me to bed... but today working with Dancer was a day where it all just 'clicked'!
