I took my Dad's OTTB for a spin on the 20 acre pasture where we keep him at a friend's cattle ranch yesterday. He did much better! He's learning not to ride-on-the-bit so much and keep his head straight unless he *needs* to turn when ridden. I'm so proud. He is probably going to the trainer for 30-60 days to learn a few basics that the racehorses don't get on track. He has the potential to be a horse that anybody can ride. He's as lazy as the day as long if you don't cue him to speed up.
