Gotta make this fast. Go.

Simply put, Ed is the best horse in the world. Despite there being no jumps in dressage (excluding those around the perimeter, or so he thought when we began this eventing endeavor), Ed is finally understanding that it is an important part of the equation as well. I would even risk saying that he likes it.

This judge was very tough. Everyone said so. But, even so, I finished with a 38.9, nearly ten points better than my previous best. We received all 6's and 7's and one 5 in my lengthened trot. The weird thing is that, before, the only 7 or 8 I would get in my tests would be in the lengthened trot. Oh well, I'm not complaining.

Right now, I am tied for 7th with another rider from our own barn which is neat. The scores are really tight and I'm only ~6.5 points away from the leader.

I feel pretty good about cross-country. The course looks to ride well. My goal for this round is to finish. It I get a stop or go over time, that's fine as long as I cross the finish.
