She is home!

My horse came home! Sept 15th she arrived. I am so excited! But there is a downfall. She has a really bad wound on her withers that is really nasty. I was quite irritated when Edith called me and told me she discovered it. I had finally arranged for someone to transport her the 3 hour drive and now I find out she has a really bad bite on her neck. GRRRR! So I had her delivered anyways and I am going to put pics on here of the wound. It is NASTY! The poor girl. And she doesnt look any bigger since the last time I saw her. She really needs to put on some weight.
So now she is not rideable until that wound heals up. Lord only knows how long that will take. But I went out today and cleaned it and put some bag balm on it and I am just trying to keep it from getting infected. I had to band her mane to keep it from getting into the wound. Yesterday it was all stuck in there. I really hope this heals well.
But so far she is of goodspirits and she has a beautiful attitude. I already love her to death.
