Sarah's refresher training

After her episode w/colic and dehydration, I decided to let her be for a while. I've since put her up for sale but have had no bites. Pretty sure I'm asking too much
A friend, who is also a trainer, offered to take her for 30 days and then sell her for me and split the money. I'm thinking about this. I'm also considering keeping her. All my other guys are getting on in years and she would be a good replacement after some work.
Since she was so awful to ride in the arena by herself and I finally figured out she was buddy sour and not so terribly green, I decided to see how she'd do on a trail ride with her favorite buddy along. She was great! No spooking, nice "whoa", nice "walk". Rusty on the neck reigning and leg cues but no big deal.
This week, since my schedule has opened up a lot, I've started working with her everyday. We work a bit in the round pen on "whoa" and "walk". She's almost got it to where she responds just to my voice. Then I take her in the arena. Today was a very nice ride. She would walk off in a straight line! No spinning, no standing and flexing her head to my knee and acting like she'd never heard "walk" before. Responding much better to neck reigning and leg cues. Her stops are still very sudden but we can work on that. She didn't ever holler for her buddies
I was very nervous about working with her because I am not a trainer by any stretch of the imagination. But once I figured out that she KNOWS what to do already, just didn't want to be away from her buddies, then I figured I could work with her. I can "tune" her up, I just don't know how to start a horse "from scratch".
