Yep so I am wel and truly back into the swing of things since returning from North Carolina.
Still very much wishing I was there but I'm not hating being home anymore. In fact, since I've been back, me and my two best friends have been hanging out more than ever, I love those girls so much
I have one week of Uni classes left! my goodness that went quick. I have 2 major assignmenst to do and some little ones as well, I can honestly say my academic life has been neglected this semester. I think because I came back from studying in NC where it was so much easier to get a good mark and here when I got myfirst mark back, it was only an average grade, so I think I got a little put out about it. I've by no means failed anything, I've just not put much effort in.
In other news, I had a job interview this week. Its for a clothing store over the Christmas period. I figured if I want to go travelling, I'd better earn some money!
Speaking of travel, if my grades are good enough(they should just be) I'll probably do another exchange, this time to England. Most probably Exeter. Its good because I'm a British citizen so I can get a job whilst I'm there and either stay on after I graduate, or travel before I come home.
Viktor is good. Once again his bad hoof is playing up. Pretty sure he wants to have a cloven hoof, it just continually splits and breaks away no matter our efforts. Its usually a seasonal thing though and it tends to get better with warmer weather so heres hoping.
Anyways, thats about it. Life goes on as always.

| | It's weird coming back from travelling isn't it? Hard to adjust into a routine again!!!! I bet that was an amazing experience... you musta met so many people!! GOOD LUCK with your job interview!!! I think working over Christmas is brilliant... especially if you're making commission because people spend ludacris (sp) amounts of money. England would be wonderful!! THat's GREAT that you're a British citizen... that'd make travelling Europe so easy! Eeee I hope you get to do that!!! Glad to hear an update from you friend... take it easy, and good luck with the rest of your semester!! |

| | I totally understand what you mean. I spent 5 weeks in Italy on a homestay program and it was just an amaing experience. Coming home was so hard and just adjusting to my way of life was so difficult, especially when all I could (and still do) think about was Italy. I really want to do a uni exchange now. I was looking into it (since I am starting to apply for uni) and there are so many places I would love to visit. Good luck with the job interview! |
