I'm so excited--my best friend, my sister, and I are going down to Missouri to visit some friends next Saturday. Our whole church is going down on Sunday, because we're having church there, so we'll be able to play volleyball all afternoon, if the weather is nice. I hope so bad it is! I haven't played volleyball for way too long. I love it, even though my hands and wrists take a beating and swell up. No pain, no gain, right??
So, anyway, we're heading down Saturday and going to spend the night. One big sleepover! The bad thing is, a couple of other girls just invited themselves along, so that's really annoying me. I find it astounding that some people think they're entitled to do whatever fun thing you're doing, and just invite themselves to go along. It's like DUH--if I wanted you along, I would have invited you. OH well, I won't let it ruin my fun.
No rain yet today, even though it's really overcast. The poor horses are slogging through mud. I think I'm going to go out and hose Khavele's feet off and put hoof junk on--forget what it's called--that will help keep out the moisture so her feet don't start rotting away. I had to blanket her last night because she was shivering, poor thing. She hates rainy weather, it really upsets her, and sometimes she gets colicky.
Time for lunch!
