Ramblings.

Wow. It's been a long time since I've written in this journal thing. In fact I nearly had forgotten all about it. So I suppose an update on life is in order, not that anybody necessarily cares. Supposedly it's good to write down thoughts and feelings, except I'm mostly just bored and have nothing better to do. So, here goes..
I have my full license now, well since September, but due to some health related issues I had to "voluntarily" give it up for quite a few months. Pfft, took a long enough time to get it back, but I got it, and all is well. I still don't go out all that much, no job equals no gas. I suppose occasionally a few friends and I cruise out to town and go dancing or bowling or something of the such. Other than that, my life revolves around sitting on my bum. I almost wish I lived back in the day, not for strappings thats fur sure, but for the peace away from electronics. Oh how the steal precious moments away from our short lives. And short indeed as I am beginning to learn.
Deaths of teenagers seem to be a recent trend in the news. Rather tragic how many lives have been devastated due to car accidents. Recently a young man from my hometown passed, a real tragedy. I couldn't imagine being involved, or having a good friend involved. Lives seem to be crashing down upon us, and what can we do? Take all licenses from the obviously incompetent drivers, who many believe to be teenagers. Accidents occur all around the world, every age, race, and gender. Fact of life I guess, a terribly sad fact of life.
Apparently I feel the need to ramble, but I have a lot of catching up to do, and ramble on I shall! What's new in my life? Well, my father found a woman who owns two peruvian pasos and a rocky mountain, I think anyways, that sounds about right. So, we went down to visit as she has been looking for someone to groom and ride with in the summer. They are some nice looking horses, one is a bit older and retired. The woman is quite nice too, the problem lies with me. I'm not a particularly chatty thing, at least when it comes to talking to older, wiser, people. Surprising maybe as I seem to be writing a whole lot of nothing. I get nervous as I feel like I am going to say something ridiculously simple minded. Ah, what can you do right. I need to give her a phone call here soon and possibly get together with her again. (phones calls, another problem of mine.)
School is relatively okay, except for that fact that my grades have dropped considerably. I have never had a mark as low in any class (except Home Ec. but that teacher was rather .. shall I say stunned?) before, I got in the low seventies in math. I have just been blanking on tests lately. It doesn't help that the teacher is a homework nazi, pardon the term I realize the horrors that come with it but here it is just a term we use to describe the man. He really isn't a bad guy by any means, and is a good teacher. When it comes to homework though, if you happened to not understand a question and you don't write a full sentence explaining why and all this nonsense you get a detention. Which to a point is understandable but he brings the rules to extremes sometimes. In fact he'd blend in rather well with the strict teachers back in the day.
Ah, I've written quite enough or one entry. Maybe I shall return again some day to continue my blabbering, but for now, I am done. G'day all.
