ha- today was fun :]

ill do it... chronologically :P

I got to the ranch at about 9:20...talked with jenni for a bit... wrangled Lady( a veryyy cutie buckskin!!) she was a pain :P, groomed her for jessica, hung out for a bit dranka bg thing of water.... then the farrier showed up O:

we all chilled, watched him trim up Charlie and babygirl (blind D:-she looks..ghostly) and talked with his GF on the rail.. just kinda hung out...

today i got up before noon (SHOCKER!) and went to check out a new volunteer opportunity... they are super nice people. I worked with a few horses, got chased around by a few geldings wanting treats, and found out that emu's are mean...

oh- and that we need biodegradable baling twine.. xD (twine + emu feet=bad)

i plan on going back, riding, and helping out soon :]

We have yet to move the animals... Oh well- Tim is working with me... Nothing is going right :P

I got to the ranch at about 9, groomed him up a little bit and then tacked him up, took a few pictures, and rode around for about 2 hours...

With my failed confidence, I still think he is pickng up on that- hence him trying to be the boss... There was some construction going on- and a few times the sound kinda scared him- but I kept control... I really wish he would accept...

For the past year, i have had my horses boarded at my dad's friend's house(that is half my fathers) and now- the guy is moving...


i have a week to move the animals...


i have never had to load Dibbs myself before... and i dont have a trailer to even 'practice' with so- this should be interesting...

good things:
he will be closer=more time with him=more training=better partners in crime

the new lady we will be boarding with...

Everything was pretty good.. besides him being a total butt -_-

I was taking his fly mask off... and he TOTALLY flipped out, snapped his lead line off the pole, and bolted -_-

he came back within 30 seconds... and started grazing on the lawn...i went over.. grabbed what was remaining of his lead rope... and tried to get the ridiculous looking fly mask off of him...
AGAIN... he decided to bolt..
silly horse..
he came back again though after he successfully...
