The Story of Gertie

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Overo Paint mare named Lacy.

Lacy lived in a huge pasture with other mares and babies. It was pure heaven! Unlimited grass to much on daily, a few flies to swat at, friends to chit-chat with and the warm summer sun to make a mare happy.

On one particular day, she notices that a new horse has arrived. His name is Lusty. Now, Lusty was a gorgeous Appaloosa stud. And boy o' boy did he make the girls'...

So today was a fairly good day! Didn't do a whole lot.

Rocky got a bath..bwahahahaa!! He really needed it. Him and the other Dumb Dumb (Bacardi) got onto the picnic table in the backyard after my gpa put a few coats of linseed oil.. So they were both pretty nasty. Rocky still has some in his coat, that will be cut out tomorrow. But he is nice and CLEEEEAN and smells so puuurty..

I'm so tired from this weekend. Most of my muscles are so sore and tired! I spent the ENTIRE weekend helping Casey move from his friend Aaron's house to this mothers old house.

His mom got a job up in Denver and has been up there for the past.. oh month or two and now Casey is moving in there. His sister is living there too with her daughter. I think they may move up later, I know Rayona will for sure before school starts, but not sure about Celina.. though I pray she does but I doubt...

Yesterday was a pretty good day!

I rode Cochise for about an hour. I went on a long trail ride...just him and I. We climbed up part of the mountain and it is SO COOL up there! The views are just spectacular! Then we climbed down and rode in the valley part. That horse sure knows his way around those trails. He took me into this wooded type area that is flat-- PERFECT for camping! Woo! I'm going to have to drag my tent out and have a little camp out for myself. I'll bring Rocky with...

YAY! So, I'm registered for school *dance*

I'm taking American Law and Ethics, Law Office Management and an easy basic college math class--gotta keep on top of my math skills hahaha. I can't WAIT to start my American Law and Ethics. I already have the books, thankfully.. I bought them in advance last fall but didnt get into the class because it was full.. so yaaaay! School starts May 19.. RIGHT before my birthday.. bummer!
