Guess it's about time for another journal entry. Just because...

There's nothing really exciting going on in my life. This past weekend was pretty good. I didn't do much on Friday, but on Saturday morning I took a free practice DAT that was being offered. I may have also had several meals with someone I'm supposed to be trying to stay away from ( ). Sigh. Anyway, the practice DAT was scary. None of it was overlly difficult, but the time limits are going to be a killer....

As I'm sure more of you are aware, I've had a bit of a self-esteem/self-confidence problem for quite a long time. I was pondering this a bit yesterday. I was trying to figure out exactly when these problems started. I also happened to be thinking about my relationship with my mother. I was discussing it a tiny bit with a friend over lunch. It seems like the weeks are going by quite quickly. This is completely fine with me. I'm already ready for this semester to be done and to get out of Iowa for awhile. I am glad I'm going through with my plans. I'm sick and tired of just dreaming. I'm ready to live out some of those dreams. Do something for myself. Learn more about me, and how I fare when I'm standing completely on my own two feet. It's rather exciting, and rather terrifying all at once.

So I've been doing some thinking lately. After getting to know Scott better over the past 5 or 6 weeks, I've come to realize a few things. First of all, he's very friendly. This is great, right? Well... maybe not so much. He's really friendly to most people, and as I've realized, to many girls. Basically, he's kind of a flirt.
